Engraving is typically suitable for flat or gently curved surfaces with sufficient space. Intricate textures, heavy patterning, pavé settings, or very narrow bands may limit options—in those cases we’ll recommend the best alternative (e.g., an inside-band inscription, a remake, or a different personalisation method).

• Solid 14k gold (including white gold) and S925 sterling silver usually engrave beautifully.
• 18k gold vermeil and gold-plated pieces can be engraved; depending on placement, we may advise a light refinish afterward to keep the finish pristine.
• We can only engrave authentic Filips pieces; third-party items aren’t accepted.

Engraving added at the time of purchase is complimentary where offered. Post-purchase engraving is a paid service; pricing depends on surface, placement, and complexity. Once your piece arrives at our workshop, typical turnaround is 7–14 business days for straightforward work. If a design is more complex, we’ll confirm a bespoke timeline in advance.

After we confirm your quote, we’ll provide packing guidelines and the correct return address. Please ship with tracking and insurance suitable for the item’s value. We’ll notify you on receipt, again when the engraving is complete, and share the return tracking once dispatched.
